Winter weather greeted the Nielson runners in December. Temps were in the mid 20s with a cold north wind, and a few snowflakes were flying. Despite the cold weather, we still had 51 runners finish the Nielson Challenge. And 6 of those 51 ran under their handicap. Shawn Sturm took the monthly honor, as he was 49 seconds under his handicap. Way to go, Shawn. We have a shirt for you. Join us again in January.
