September was another beautiful day for the Nielson Challenge.
It was a little chilly for the early volunteers, but then
it warmed up a bit and was a perfect day for run.
We had a more manageable turnout for the Nielson, with 116 runners
running the 2 miles. Brianne Pierson was the most improved runner
for the month, as she was a whopping 5:38 under her handicap. Now
that's really moving.
There are only 2 more months left in the yearly cycle. For those
first 10 months there have been 10 different monthly winners. If
one of those 10 wins one of the next 2 months, they will take home
the yearly most improved honors.
Join us in October. The weather is usually still nice in early
Ocotober, so you have no excuse to not join us.
