2009 August Nielson 2 Mile Challenge
Note: Our apologies, but we accidentally dropped a spike of pulltags. We
did our best to get them back in the proper order, but there are probably
some mistakes. For those who finished between 13:41 and 15:33, if the actual
time listed for you is not correct, please send an e-mail to Dave Sorenson at

What a big turnout. We had 163 runners, which is a
new high for the Nielson Challenge. August is typically
our largest month, as some of the high school cross
country teams use the August Nielson as a time trial
before cross country season starts.
This month's winner was Elisabeth Smisson, who was 3:25 under her handicap. It's quite an accomplishment to come out on top with such a large field. Congratulations, Elisabeth! We'll be doing this all again on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. See you then.
