45 degrees, warming just a bit, cloudy, with a slight breeze. The weather was
fine on this Cinco de Mayo day. Since it was Cinco de Mayo, everybody was required
to run the race in Spanish. The person who apparently knows Spanish the best is
Elizabeth Wolfe, as she improved the most over her handicap by nearly 2 minutes.
Way to go, Elizabeth!
There was a bunch of youngsters out today, and they all seemed to have a blast.
We hope to see them all again next month.
Today was the first event of the summer series, a 5 event participation series.
All of the above runners are automatically entered in the summer series, plus 5
others who ran the first mile of today's race.
