Weather: Sunny with rising temps. Starting temp was in the
low 50s and temperatures rose to the mid 60s.
No wind.
Course: Mostly flat and fast 5K course. Started at the Fine Arts Center
and then used the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail through South
Monument Valley Park and North Monument Valley Park. It's
a very gentle upslope on the way out and a very gentle downslope
on the way back. The trails are well-groomed, hard-packed dirt
with excellent footing.
The kids course was a quick loop (about 0.2 miles) around the
grassy area next to the Fine Arts Center.
