Current Course Used in Years: 2011 - present

Current Course Info: Starts at the Hilton Antlers in downtown Colorado Springs.  The first couple of miles are on downtown streets, then the course makes it way onto the Shooks Run Trail just east of the downtown corridor.  The Shooks Run Trail is followed over to the Pikes Peak Greenway trail, connecting a bit north of Colorado College.  This is about 4  3/4 miles into the race.  Then the course heads north on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail for about 1/2 mile, and turns around heads south on the trail.  The course continues south on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail until about mile 9 1/2.  Then the course is back on city streets, using Tejon Street, Cascade Ave, Old Broadmoor Rd and finishing at Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort.  There are not too many hills on this course.  Elevation is a bit above 6000 feet.

Course Info: Start and finish at The Broadmoor.  The couse is a 2-loop course using Mesa Ave, Lake Circle, Pourtales Road, Mirada Road, Cheyenne Mtn Blvd and Penrose Blvd.  The course also includes an out-and-back section along Cresta Road and Lower Gold Camp Road.  The course is entirely on paved roads with rolling hills.  Elevation ranges from about 6,100 feet to about 6,500 feet.
