Current Course Used in Years: 1979 - 1981, 1983 - 1984, 1993 - present
Current Course Info: North Monument Valley Park, Colorado Springs. The course uses the same 5K course that is used by the high school cross country meets. The course is on grass and dirt trails. There is one short hill. Elevation is about 6,050 feet.
Notes: There were no races from 1985 - 1992. The 1982 race was held at Memorial Park. For the most part, the results listings in the newsletters for the 1979 - 1984 races don't show ages. There are no overall record performances during those years. I can't be sure on the age groups since I don't have ages for the finishers those years, although by deduction, I did figure out that 1 of the finishers from 1984 set an age-group record.
