Current Course Info: Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Colorado Springs. The scenic 50K double-loop course begins on a wide open trail which winds its way along the base and part way up Cheyenne Mountain. Runners traverse several different types of trails-small bouldering, twisty, sloping, densely wooded, and wide open prairie. Elevation ranges from about 6000 feet to about 7100 feet. If you miss something the 1st time around, you'll see it on the 2nd loop.
