Newsletter Stuffings ***change in venue*** -- directions -- Every month a bunch of fun-loving folks have a great time talking about running and races, sipping refreshments, and enjoying yummie hot pizza...oh, and they also get the newsletter ready for mailing. But that just takes a few minutes once the right hand knows what the left is doing and everyone melds into a finely tuned insert-staple-label mailing machine. You will get to talk with several board members and race directors and have the chance to talk to other avid runners. Come be a part of this fun and join us on the 7th floor of the Plaza of the Rockies (121 S Tejon) on the last Wednesday of each month starting at at 6 pm or thereafter! The newsletters below are in PDF format. The files tend to be large, so downloading the files works best with a high-speed internet connection. If you are on a dial-up connection, you may want to initiate the download and then go out for a run.

Newsletter Inserts and Advertising
Organizations may put inserts in the PPRR newsletter or include advertisements. This is a great way to target your event to 1000+ local runners.
Here are the details for inserts:
Inserts must be non-folded, using 8.5 x 11 inch paper all of the same weight.
1,400 inserts are needed. It's very important to have enough inserts. The newsletters are mailed bulk mail, and the post office requires that all pieces in a bulk mailing have the same content and weight.
Inserts need to be at the Plaza of the Rockies, 7th Floor, (121 S Tejon, Colorado Springs, CO 80903) by the day before the newsletter stuffing. Newsletter stuffing dates are listed on the calendar. The stuffed newsletters are taken to the post office for mailing on the day after the newsletter stuffing.
A check for $50 must accompany the inserts, made out to PPRR. If your event contracts with the PPRR for finish line and scoring services, then there is no fee.
