From Air Force Academy to Palmer Lake (31.2 miles round trip). South end starting point at Ice Lake at South end of Air Force Academy. Trail follows Monument Creek north, through the Air Force Academy, 12.1 miles to Monument with 3.5 more miles to Palmer Lake. Ice Lake, Baptist Road, and Monument trailheads have water and restrooms. Trail is mostly flat on a gravel surface. Plenty of weekend bikers and hikers.
