Directions: Garden of the Gods is a 1367-acre park owned by the Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department. The park is located at 30th Street and Gateway Road. Open all year.
Description: The park contains famous red sandstone rock formations known throughout the United States. The park is interlaced with numerous hiking and equestrian trails providing spectacular views of the park and the city as they crisscross around and through grasslands and juniper woodlands. The park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife including deer, hawks, bighorn sheep and rattlesnakes. All trails are multi-use (except for bikes). Parks and Recreation Map
