Note: For the Turkey Trot Predict, the course starts going counter-clockwise around Criterium Course -- i.e., the south section of the Criterium Course is not used for the Turkey Trot. Instead, the north and west legs are used at both the beginning of the race and the end of the race.
2 loops are run around Prospect Lake.
WINTER SERIES #2 – NORTHBOUND
Except for the first and last portions, the course is on Pikes Peak Greenway
Trail.
START/FINISH: In El Pomar Youth Sports complex, halfway across the soccer
field. It is on a sidewalk crosswalk just north of a culvert. The south edge
of the east/west sidewalk is the designated line.
MILE 1: Just past the Janitell overpass, in line with double power poles to
the east and north edge of a concrete wall to the west.
MILE 2: Next to a chain link fence with a “NOTICE -------“ sign where
vertical privacy slats begin.
MILE 3: At fork in trail where the trail converts from concrete to dirt.
This is south of the, “Black and White Body and Paint” shop just west of
Tejon.
MILE 4: Across Fountain Creek from the Drake Power Plant, in line with a
light pole and power transmission poles to the west. This is about 0.1 miles
south of the Cimarron Avenue Bridge.
